Due to the fact that we are a bricks and mortar store with a number of different dealers, inventory control is difficult. Please quote the letters or numbers at the end of the item title, so we know where to find it and to ensure it’s still available.

1859 STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLISH LARGE JUG PITCHER SALT GLAZED (KC)

This is an English stoneware jug or pitcher with the English registry mark dating it in to May of 1859. It measures 9" tall to the top of the lip. No cracks repairs etc that I can detect. It has a stain on the base that has penetrated because the base is not glazed. It may come out, but I have no attempted to remove it. Only one minute part of the stain shows through when the jug is sitting. Mottled all over with little circles with a grapevine pattern and the twisting vine acts as the handle. $125
