The Proposed New Seminole Heights Library

Wow, it’s about time.  This is the first we knew about the proposed new library. They’ve got most of the walls up and work appears to moving right along. It will remain located across from Memorial Middle School and has been torn down and will replaced by a $6.9 million, two-story building that is expected to open in winter 2013. The library it replaces cost a measly $69,000 in 1965.

Will it just be an annex for the Middle School and High School? As long as the kids are studying and behaving themselves, it has to be a good thing.
